It is very common for people to fear the dentist and as a result, people tend not to ask their dentist, hygienist, or dental assistant questions. Either the person is afraid they will sound stupid or they just want to get out of the dental office as quickly as possible. People are much quicker to ask a friend, relative, or co-worker advice whenever they have a problem or have questions about dental treatment. Some people are much more comfortable looking for information online.

I created Dental Health Blog as a means to answer common dental questions and to explain dental procedures and dental problems in an easy to understand way. The more informed you are about proper dental care for you and your family, as well as common dental problems and procedures, the easier it will be to consult with your dentist and/or to make better decisions regarding your dental care and recommended dental treatments.
